BLOOD DRIVE

The council is sponsoring an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, July 15, from 1:00 pm to 6:45 pm, in the multi-use room at Church. If you can give blood, help out or both, contact Dale Pepper @ 734-878-9454.

SUMMER BAZAAR

The Knights will have a table at the Rosary Altar Society’s Summer Bazaar on Saturday, July 24, from 10:00 to 4:00. Items we will be selling include bird & bat houses, honey, horseradish, mustards, etc and other Christmas items. We could some help manning the tables. Contact Tom Czubaj @734-878-6381.

DISC GOLF OUTING

The 3^rd annual Disc Golf outing will be on August 1, at Hudson Mills Metro Park. Cost is $25.00 for 2 rounds of 18 holes. Registration is 8:00 to 10:30, tee-off first round @ 11:00, lunch at 1:30, tee-off 2^nd round @ 3:00. Ace pool is $2.00, prizes, raffle, 50/50. LANSING LUGNUTS TICKETS

Tickets for the Lansing Lugnuts August 20 baseball for Seminarians can be picked up at the bazaar or at all Masses starting July 24-25. Contact Kevin Schang @734-878-6902 for special arrangements.

GOLF OUTING

The Knights 13^th annual golf outing will be on Saturday, August 14, at Rush Lake Hills. Shotgun start at 8:00 am, continental breakfast @ 7:00, lunch at the turn, food & beverages after golf, game holes, prizes, raffle, four hole-in-one prizes including a lease of a 2010 Dodge Journey. Cost is $88.00 a person or $350.00 a foursome. Men’s, ladies & mixed teams, flighted scoring & all golfers are eligible to win a Momentus power hitter driver & lob wedge, a $220.00 value. KNIGHTS FAMILY CAMPOUT

Bishop Lake Camp-Out

> It's time to make our reservations for the annual Knights of Columbus
> camp-out. The cost is $46 to camp from Friday, August 27th through
> Sunday, August 29th at Bishop Lake Campground. They have canoe and kayak
> rentals, along with fishing pole rentals and bait. There will be a
> fishing contest Saturday morning and mass on the grounds Saturday evening.

COMMUNITY GARDEN

The Knights are helping Brother Dave Bogin to grow a community garden for the food pantry. Help will be needed to plant, weed & harvest. Contact Br. Dave @ 734-2827

KANS FOR KIDS

Collections are way down and Kans for Kids is running a negative balance. Please make an effort to bring your bottles and cans on the 3^rd weekend of every month. Our kids are counting on all of you. Or if you can, please make a small donation at the box on the trailer. If you have a donation & forget the weekend or can’t make Mass, contact Kevin Schang @734-878-6902 for special pick-up.
